My name is April Gutierrez.  I am the wife to Marc and the mother to Marc and Kaleigh.  We reside in New Mexico.  One of my greatest passions is my children.  Since I enjoy being with them so much I also enjoy preserving the memories we are making with them in pictures.  I starting taking our own "professional" pictures several years ago after spending over an hour or so in a studio to have our pictures done only to come away disappointed.  I have found that when kids are outside or in their own element, they are more comfortable and we are able to capture their true side.  This is one reason why I got into photography.

My camera of choice is the Sony Alpha 100k.
